Plasma microbiome cell-free DNA (mcfDNA) is a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of the etiology of infection. In the absence of samples from infection foci, the detection of plasma mcfDNA brings important value for pathogen identification. BunnyMag Microbiome cfDNA Isolation Kit for Sequencing (CE Certified) uses magnetic beads with a unique separation function and a unique buffer system to rapidly extract mcfDNA from fresh or frozen plasma, easily achieving low concentration of trace nucleic acid extraction.

Methodology

Macro-genome next-generation sequencing (mNGS):the entire microbial composition of the collected samples was analyzed using high-throughput sequencing technology.
